A multi-unit, chef-driven restaurant group based in New York City was in the process of hiring an HR director and required immediate support with essential HR functions, including onboarding, benefits enrollment, and payroll administration. The leadership team was evaluating the ideal skill set and level of expertise needed to effectively support their HR operations. While they were uncertain about the exact profile for the role, they suspected that a highly compensated director might not be necessary and sought guidance in identifying the right internal HR resource. At the same time, the company was preparing for a high-profile new opening and several smaller locations.
Our Solution
E|H immediately assumed the company’s daily HR tasks while simultaneously recruiting a new internal HR generalist. We also onboarded and trained the generalist on her responsibilities and provided additional leadership in reporting, recruiting, benefits, and offboarding.
The Results
