A multi-unit restaurant group based in New Jersey engaged E|H to provide educational workshops to their management and restaurant teams as well as compliance and general HR support for their growing business. As a growing business without internal HR, the management team wanted the peace of mind of having a seasoned HR resource without the cost of hiring a full-time HR Director.
E|H began with an HR Discovery, providing the team with suggestions for improvement in compliance as well as value-added cultural enhancements. Following the Discovery, we focused on fostering ongoing learning through regular management meetings covering various topics such as Effective Interviewing, Recruiting Best Practices, Employee Onboarding, and Coaching and Counseling.
By building solid relationships with each of the company’s managers, E|H was able to successfully introduce HR leading practices in performance management and employee engagement. Our dedicated consultant provides regular support with complex employees relations and helps the managers approach employee relations in a people-focused manner. Because of our close relationship with the leadership team and understanding of the company’s culture, we have also been engaged to recruit for multiple key leadership roles within the company.
