Jerryn discovered her interest in HR and recruiting through a college project, marketing to job candidates the benefits, perks, and unique culture of a local insurance company. This experience was an important lesson that all companies - even those in an industry rarely considered glamorous - can create a culture where people feel supported and can thrive. After college, Jerryn pursued sales positions in fashion, beauty and retail, where she sought out projects in employee relations and communications, ultimately leading her company's recruiting efforts and learning programs. Today, Jerryn continues to grow her career with Empowered Hospitality, helping to build thriving work environments by attracting and developing great talent.
Ideal Restaurant Experience
I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to being a guest at a restaurant. If the staff is approachable, the food is delicious, and the restaurant is clean, you will see me again. That said, I love going someplace with a view, whether it's by the water or on a rooftop!
