Due to pandemic labor shortages, a growing CPG company was relying on outside agencies to staff their quickly growing production team. As a result, labor costs had ballooned by over 25%, while the management team still struggled to reliably staff their busy shifts. The business owner knew the solution was to phase out the employment agencies, but lacked the bandwidth and know-how to source talent in the tightening labor market.

Hiring during the height of the pandemic was extremely challenging. This enabled the business to exceed production demands, which has in turn allowed them to expand their distribution across the northeast.
